JV's and Laundry Fun

This here blog post is a shout out to our friends and local Jesuit Volunteers and also a shout out to laundry.
From L to R: Miranda, Sarah, Kate, Katie, Kate, and Ben.  I work with Ben and Kate (1) at the Poverello and Abigail works with Miranda and Katie at the YWCA.  We went to their place for a party on Saturday because many of their parents were here.  We also met the leaders of the Catholic Worker Farm here close to Missoula.  We also took advantage of their State-of-the-art laundry facilities more than once.

We also had a Laundry Outing.  We decided to spice up our laundry run with some treats and a game.

We were given appreciation gift certificates to Bernice's Bakery for being YWCA children's advocates.

And this is what we ended up with....

Aww, We Heart Missoula (and sugar cookies)

Thinking on my next move (notice the impressive yellow run)

This is the point where our love met and will last forever.

We are wrapping up our time in Missoula.  It seems like it was no time at all.  Today I went to my last Out To Lunch which featured an international choral festival with choirs from all over the world.  It was pretty cool.  Unfortunately Abigail was at work and missed it.  Tomorrow is (most likely) my last day at the Poverello.  Yesterday was supposed to be it and then the food rescue truck driver hurt his back so I'm going back for more.  On Sunday night we are having a farewell party at our friend Hattie's house which will feature an open mic!  We are very much looking forward to the opportunity to bring our time with Missoula folks some closure.  We are packing up this week and trying to firm up some Couchsurfing details.

Much Love to you all!
Dietrich
