Maine! We had a wonderful trip to the Maine coast last week starting out on Tuesday the 23rd and returning Tuesday the 30th. We spent 3 days in Rockport, ME and then 2 days on Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park. Not pictured below is our visit with Nate and Erin Rittenhouse just outside of Boston at Gordon Comwell. They had just had a little boy, Joseph, and we got to hold him! We also got to play with their daughter Madelyn. The following is a pictorial tour...
We just had to stop at Dietrich's Meats just outside of Kutztown!
Our first stop on the Maine Coast - Nubble Lighthouse at Cape Neddick. It was put into use in 1879 and is still used today!

Sunset on Cadillac Mountain
Lots of wind up there
The Acadia Night Sky Festival was going on while we were there - and for good reason. We had beautiful clear nights and Abigail got a chance to get some starscapes with the camera.
This is at night - the light on the rocks is from car headlights
And we're back! We had a great time and saw some great sights. It was good to just get away for a little bit and relax. Enjoy the pictures!
