We've been spending a good bit of time trying to decide what to do with ourselves during the upcoming year, post Missoula. In an attempt to clear our heads, we've been taking a lot of walks and little trips outside of town. On president's day, Abigail had the day off, so we went for a drive, trying to find the perfect picnic spot. We drove along a mountain ridge, down into a valley, and landed at a riverside. After finding the perfect spot, we unloaded the food and drink, only to discover it was still Winter and much too cold. We ended up eating in the car facing the river (not too shabby), and despite finding, and almost stepping on, something really nasty beside the car.
Saturday night we drove up through the wealthiest neighborhood in Missoula to a nice "grassy" park. Wrapped in blankets, we talked and watched the city lights. So with much ado, I introduce Missoula at night...
This is my favorite picture of the night...
