Here are some random things that have been going on in Missoula!
| The Rainbow folks are here for the Rainbow festival! I saw a few people climbing into the store dumpster and then yelling out to everyone "Free Watermelon!" Ha ha, yes! |
| There was a kayaking competition on Brennan's Wave on the river. |
| Sorry Jason, this shirt got one too many holes in it |
| This is an impressive move: From what I observed, it consists of diving nose first into the wave, resulting in a flip - I didn't see anyone pull this off and stay in the wave. |
| Did she put on the dress first or dye the hair first? |
| The surfers got into the action as well |
We are really enjoying the weather in Missoula right now. It's pretty hot and very dry, but cool in the evenings still. We haven't ventured out swimming yet, but soon and very soon the heat will get the best of us I believe! We are also still in the process of choosing people to live with us at Peace House in the fall. It's been a little frustrating doing the recruiting (mostly on our own) from Montana! Skype is just not ideal. But we are hopeful that the Spirit is moving in and through all of it. Please pray for us! Also we are very much looking forward to driving up to Glacier this weekend to meet up with our parents! We will spend the weekend there and come back to Missoula on Monday. Two of our friends, Chris and Heidi, who are biking across the nation will then be joining us for a couple of days. Our padres will be hanging out in Missoula for a week and then will hop back on the train to head back East.
After that, we will get rid of what we don't need and head back to VA in July!
P.S. We were really jealous of everyone enjoying the Rhodes family time - wish we could've been there! Looking forward to August!!
