February has been a slow month for blogging. Dietrich has had a lot of hours at work, so by evening we both are tired and ready to rest. We've watched a number of movies. This week we watched an especially good one called 'The Fall.' It's about a little girl, recently immigrated from Romania, in the 1920's. She's staying at a hospital because she broke her arm picking oranges in the groves. She meets a young man who does stunts for movies. He ends up telling her this epic tale which you see come to life in her mind. Anyway, the cinematography is really amazing and the story is sweet. We highly recommend it.
In our spare time we've been doing a lot of sewing for our Etsy shop. Dietrich made four sets of place mats and some napkins and I've been perfecting my jacket-making skills. Every time you add something new to the shop our listings jump to the front of search pages, so we've been trying to add things fairly often.
Last week I caught a bug which hasn't gone away, and Dietrich now seems to have it as well. Last night I thought we needed a treat, so I whipped up these...
They were delicious. Below is the recipe for the mousse. It's made from coconut milk! I was trying to come up with something our vegan friend, Miranda, could enjoy when she visits later this week. In the original recipe I saw they also made tiny chocolate cups to hold the mousse, but I didn't have the energy for that.
Ingredients
1 Can of refrigerated coconut milk
1/4 Cup of cocoa powder
1tsp Vanilla
1/2 cup Stevia (or powered sugar)
Add all of the ingredients into a metal bowl.
Whip together until the mix reaches the consistency of whipped cream.
If you want to get fancy you can put the mousse in a ziploc bag and squeeze it out soft-serve style.
Delicious!

Thanks for ending on a delicious note! That looks really simple and yummy. Hope you're both feeling better soon!
